Special Needs Socialization: Community Connections

Clients and families have access to a structured monthly calendar of educational and social events located in multiple settings out in the community. Care Partners are assigned to assist and support clients as they attend events and navigate the different community settings.

Cicily Cares' Special Needs Socialization program- Community Connections is a great option for you.

Community Connections is a structured community monthly calendar of educational and social events executed by expert Care Partners in multiple settings out in the community. This is designed to improve inclusion and socialization for children and young adults with disabilities.

During the school year Community Connections events are scheduled on Fridays, Saturday and Sundays. Events comprise of a variety of inclusive activities that gets special needs children and young adults out into their communities on the weekends.

How it Works:

Each client will be placed into groups depending on clients’ needs or preference (of scheduled activities) with no more than 9 clients in a group

Fees

· There is a $99.00 Registration Fee for Community Connections.

Hourly service fees for the duration of an event apply. Fees are based on subgroup rates and are set up front upon activity selection and pod assignment.

Some events will incur additional cost for entry fees, food etc. (paid prior to the event/activity
