WHO WE ARE
We are a supportive care provider focused on improving the lives of two vulnerable groups in the communities where we serve; school age children/young adults with Autism (and other developmental disabilities) and seniors desiring to live in the safety of their own homes as they age.
OUR Founder
My name is Carol Taylor-Moore and I am the Founder and President of Cicily Cares. The company was named after my mother Cicily, who taught me that the best acts of caring are the ones that are the most difficult to do. The ones that require selflessness and sacrifice.
I am a Registered Nurse with a Masters degree in Leadership and Organizational Learning, with a diverse background in both leadership and hands on care, I am also the mother of a child with special needs, so I know firsthand the challenges involved with caring for a child with unique needs. My personal and professional experiences have also given me a birds eye view of the obstacles seniors face as they age and try to hold on to their independence. The Inspiration for Cicily Cares comes from the need to care for the most vulnerable amongst us. Those who need innovative, easy access to resources in the communities where they live and/or in the homes where they choose to age.
