Senior 24-Hour Care

24-Hour Care is sometimes referred to as Live-In Care, and may be short term due to new onset illness, surgery or a recent hospital stay, or it may be ongoing to provide longer term support to seniors as their needs change in the home.

For example a senior recovering from a fall or a stroke may need 24-Hour care for a short time; but in the case of someone who is experiencing significant change in cognition due to Dementia/Alzheimer’s,  the need for 24-Hour care will be more permanent. 24-Hour Care covers a range of services that includes bathing, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping, medication reminders, mobility assistance, light housekeeping and much more.

Cicily Cares approach 24- Hour care giving in multiple ways,  but essentially  our  default position is based on the preference and/or needs of each client/family.  Many clients prefer a Caregiver who stays 24/7 until they are relieved, as opposed to others who like the idea of staff doing shifts to cover the day. However, our Best Practice approach,  promotes a sense of confidence for our clients; caregivers stay with you throughout the night and seniors have the comfort of waking up with the same Caregiver the next morning.
